Marvel’s Midnight Suns are rife with costume redesigns for beloved Marvel Comics superheroes, and one fan put together an impressively accurate cosplay based on Doctor Strange’s new style.
A few photos were shared by Cumberbatch (@thecumbermatch) on the official Marvel’s Midnight Suns Twitter account. Cumberbatch’s Midnight Suns costume design is impressive and the editing magic is superb.

This is far from Cumbermatch’s first Doctor Strange cosplay as the title suggests, he’s famous for his uncanny resemblance to Benedict Cumberbatch, the face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Doctor Strange. Recently, Cumberbatch was even invited to the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness world premiere, in which he naturally, wore the MCU Strange’s uniform.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns Twitter account has been showing cosplayers lots of affection lately. Recently, the account shared several photos of a cosplayer showing off the Midnight Suns version of Spider-Man. Similar to Doctor Strange, Spider-Man’s Midnight Suns threads are a little more gold-and-black than fans of the character might be used to, however, the game will come with several skins to give both characters a more classic look.

Fans got some in-depth insight into how Doctor Strange will play in Marvel’s Midnight Suns recently and the announcement of a gameplay overview highlighting the character’s unique attributes. It looks like Strange could be a handy support hero in the tactical RPG by healing and boosting his allies while generating resources that they can use to perform more actions. Strange can also make use of magic to create normally one-use items, completely altering the strategic layout of the game. The gameplay trailer describes him as “the greatest support hero capable of easily fitting into the majority of squads.”
The players can discover what Doctor Strange fits into their team in the coming weeks. Marvel’s Midnight Suns heads to PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X It is set to release on Nintendo Switch, although a release date for the console hasn’t been set yet.
