Long-time cosplayer @MissSkunk posted some images of her amazing portrayal of Freya from God of War’s newest installment. She can be seen standing in the woods, sporting a sleeveless leather tunic and loincloth, held together by a belt that has a circular brass centerpiece. A range of ropes as well as hide and interconnected metal discs are hung from her tunic, and her hair of her is braided and adorned by a silver ringlet while two feathers can be seen sticking out of her head. Her hands are covered in Old Norse tattoos, and her arms and legs of her have cloth wraps and leather.

The cosplayer, known as Frau Adler on Twitter and can be found on Facebook under the name MsSkunk, has been cosplaying since 2004. Recent projects include Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn; Rogue from Cyberpunk2077 as well as Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption II.

God Of War‘s Freya was an inspiration from the Norse mythology Frigg and Freyja. The universe of the game includes a god of great power that initially assists Kratos as his son Atreus falls ill with an unidentified illness. Despite showing compassion to the two, she ultimately turns on them after the Ghost of Sparta murders her son Baldur. Ragnaroksees Freya returning to the franchise albeit this time as an antagonist seeking revenge on Kratos, going to severe measures to bring justice.
