New Merchandise for What If…? Season 2 Unveils Hela’s Discreet Makeover

Check out some of the latest What If… products. Season 2 merchandise has a new look for Hela, Thor’s evil sister.

Photos of some Marvel merchandise that are yet to be released reveal Cate Blanchett’s return to Hela in Season 2.

Shared to the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit, the images show a Funko Soda Collectible depicting the Thor: Ragnarok antagonist. In contrast to her appearance in the film, she is seen wearing a long dark brown dress with a woven top. Her hair is also tied up. The famous spiked helmet is also absent. This look is far less lavish than what she displayed in Phase Three. This suggests that the character will continue to be more discreet in the second installment.

It was already confirmed that Blanchett would return to Disney+’s Hela role for the upcoming season. This was revealed during a Marvel panel at the 2022 LightBox Expo. Bryan Andrews was the series’s director and promised that the appearance would portray Odin’s firstborn child Odin in an unusual way. The show’s alternate takes on familiar characters are very fitting.

Marvel’s What If …? We are gearing up for Season 2

This is not the second time that What If …? has revealed this information. As fans have seen several photos on Twitter, Season 2 details were revealed via merchandise. (It is well-known that Captain Carter’s tale would span multiple seasons. Another look at this product revealed Kahhori who is still unknown.

Marvel Studios has created its first fully animated animation, It looks at alternate versions and explores what possible routes they might have taken. Episodes include the timelines in which Peggy Carter received the super soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers. The episode also features Ultron defeating the Avengers and obtaining the Infinity Stones. A zombie virus destroys the Marvel Heroes. Jeffrey Wright voices the Watcher, who monitors all the timelines.

The official release date of the second season has not been set, but it was announced that they will be available in early 2023.
