The Gun Game mod in Call of Duty brings the classic Call of Duty min-map to the game. Infinity Ward was criticized by some fans for failing to return to the Call of Duty min-map in Modern Warfare.
Modern Warfare 2 has a limitation that doesn’t display enemies as red points when they shoot. The UAV only displays them when it is active. It is impossible to see where your opponents are when you shoot from a gun that doesn’t have a silencer. This frustrates some Call of Duty users. While it does seem that Modern Warfare 2 has this mini-map, it seems only to be available in one game mode.
Dexerto reported the Gun Game feature in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It features the classic mini-map and allows users to see a red dot when an opponent fires a weapon. This has been controversial. Some fans would like the mini-map in Call of Duty to become the standard, while Infinity Ward says it doesn’t intend to penalize players for firing their weapons.
Gun Game is different from the regular 6v6 match of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It may also have the classic map. Gun Game allows players to defeat their opponents by using a series of guns.
Gun Game is a component of many Call of Duty games but was recently added to Modern Warfare 2 as well as Infected. Activision made a playlist only for Infected last Wednesday. Grind and Gun Game have now been given their playlists Modern Warfare2. Infinity Ward announced that Drop Zone (All or Nothing), One in the Chamber, and All or Nothing would be added in the middle of Season 2 Modern Warfare 2. This will allow players to explore a variety of game modes throughout the season.
Season 2 also included a few new maps to Modern Warfare 2. However,, the core 6v6 map was not completely new. Dome is built on an older Map while Valderas’ Museum was present in the Beta before being mysteriously lost. Season 2 adds some content but it is unlikely any of these maps and modes will be able to access the classic minimap.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is now available on PC and PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
