One excited One Piecefan shows off their most authentic portrayal of pirate pop star Uta.
In two clips posted on TikTok, cosplayer Tsukiko Ichinose dances to the music from One Piece Film: Red in a stunningly exact Uta costume. The singer with hair with two tones isn’t even the only anime icon the cosplayer has made come to life. TikTok also includes videos with characters such as Reki from SK8 The Infinity and Allen from D. Haikyu! Gray Man and Kei Takishima !.

Uta made her film debut in the story of One Piecein Film red. Monkey D. Luffy, the Straw Hat Pirates, and their companions go to the Island of Music where they meet the famous singer. She is quickly revealed to be a childhood close friend of Luffy and the estranged daughter of Red-Haired Shanks. Uta hopes to ease suffering and pain through the power of song. But, her scheme is similar to the two most well-known villains .

Tsukiki Ichinose’s energetic performance aside, one cosplayer made Uta’s Film Rouge jacket to life, and another fan created an amazing Uta cosplay even before the film made its debut.

Film Red debuted in Japan in August, as well as in several Western countries at the beginning of the month. It’s already a huge box office success. The film has grossed more than 18 billion yen (approximately $180 million) which makes it the highest-grossing movie in Japan in 2022 to date. Film Red has made it to the top of the charts and is currently one of Japan’s top-grossing films. The film is part of anime icons like Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle, as well as Spirited away.
